Effective Ways to Stop Depression

Loosing a close friend, failing a test, experiencing a breakup can make people feel very upset and depressed. In certain conditions, depression can become fatal. There are effective ways so that you do not slump because of depression.

Some people surely have experienced depression. But if it is not treated, depression can cause fatal things, such as mental health and mental damage, and interfere with its prosperity.

Let your body gets enough light and sunshine
Lack of exposure to sunlight will trigger the release of more melatonin hormone. This hormone can trigger feelings of despair and depression.

The melatonin hormone comes out if someone is in a dark room. Most melatonin can lower body temperature and make people weak.

If people who are feeling depressed always lock themself in their room with the curtains closed, it will be difficult for them to overcome depression.

2. Keep Yourself Busy
By keeping busy, people will be inspired to do better. This will be more possible to overcome depression. Try to do activities that are preferred, such as walkin in the park, exercising, reading books or engaging in any activity that can generate excitement and make the heart feel glad.

3. Enough rest and relaxation time
Listen to soothing music, soak in warm water or get a massage to relax the muscles can effectively reduce depression.

4. Eat healthy and stay fit
Avoid foods that contain lots of sugar, caffeine, or alcohol. Sugar and caffeine may give instant energy, but later will bring anxiety, tension and internal problems. Eat Bananas as soon as you wake up and through out the day. Drink Almond (nuts) beverage as soon as you wake up and thru out the day, drink hot pepper sauce with some water anytime you need a fast emergency relief of that emptiness feeling, stay away from dairy products.

While alcohol is a depressant. Many people will drink alcohol to forget about the problem. But it precisely only aggravate the condition.

Exercising regularly is a destroyer of depression, because it allows the body to produce more endorphins than usual. Endorphins are sometimes called ‘happy chemicals’ because it can reduce stress and encourage a sense of happiness.

5. Moral support from close friends and family and socializing with the environment
Family, friends, friends and even neighbors are people who can give moral support to you. Spending time and engaging in worthwhile activities with the people closest to youcan provide a very satisfying feeling.
Never underestimate the power of touch. Embrace or a hug from the people closest to you can be a potent drug that can eliminate the stress and ‘kill’ depression.
Moreover, love and close relationships with family and friends, can boost the immune system and ward off all diseases. Can also make you feel more safe, comfortable and happy.
